“I stayed and listened to some of what they were saying, but it was difficult to hear over the music, so it wasn’t until I got home and looked it up that I found out what was going on. One man was speaking about how he’d not been out of work since he was 14, and yet he can’t get work now. There were quite a few police in the area, presumably in case anything kicked off. One man was going around and hugging random people in the crowd. I wasn’t there for long, but I knew about Occupy Wall Street and the things that have happened since then, and if I’d have known that this was what it was about I would have stayed.”
