  1:35 pm  |   October 20 2011

El Pais: ETA anuncia el final de la violencia.

Amidst Chile, Yemen, Libya, Turkey, and even the staggering lax-handedness of the Euro crisis, I missed this: “ETA Announces the End of Violence.”

We’re still tweaking the way we can curate the news — watching Anthony de Rosa, Ernie, and Matt Keys in action has given me some new ideas — but here’s some of what’s going on right now: Sebastian Coates has signed for Liverpool, the Department of Justice is saying that John Yoo’s memos on warrantless surveillance should stay secret, Karzai might step down in 2014, Spanish legislators are actually going to talk about a deficit amendment, AIDS at 30: via Harvard, DFW’s self-help books have been removed from the archive, Cheney ‘Fears Being Tried as a War-Criminal.’
